A Café Experience at Home - The new HomeCafé Series 4 brings professional barista-quality coffee to your own kitchen
Munich, Germany – Anyone who wants to make coffee at home just like in a café needs the technology to make it happen. With the HomeCafé Series 4, Bosch offers exactly that: professional semi automatic espresso machine technology with an integrated grinder, a 15-bar pump and precise temperature control – for home baristas who want to take full control of the entire process and get the most out of every bean.
Grind, brew, enjoy
At the heart of the HomeCafé Series 4 is the integrated, removable grinder with an anti-static function. It grinds the beans fresh at the touch of a button – for an intense aroma in every cup. Home baristas benefit from 30 grind settings, five dosing presets and the option to pause or resume the grinding process at any time. Thanks to the anti-clogging function, ground coffee always ends up in the portafilter cleanly and without any spillage.
The 58 mm stainless steel portafilter is the globally recognised standard for professional espresso machines in cafés. Its larger contact surface ensures an even distribution of the ground coffee – allowing the water to pass through the coffee more evenly during extraction. The result: a balanced, aromatic espresso, reproducible from cup to cup. Users can fully customize their espresso by adjusting key preparation parameters such as manual dosing and tamping.
When brewing, the HomeCafé Series 4 utilises a thermoblock heating system with PID temperature control. It maintains the brewing temperature constantly at the selected level – adjustable in 2-degree increments between 90 and 96 °C. The 15 bar pump pressure ensures a perfect crema and a balanced flavour in every cup. The analogue pressure gauge displays the extraction pressure in real time – so that the user can make adjustments for the next cup.
For espresso lovers and latte artists
Whether it’s a cappuccino, latte macchiato or classic espresso – the HomeCafé Series 4 covers the entire range of espresso-based drinks. The manual milk frother helps with preparing the milk component. It is easy to use and offers a choice between hot milk and milk foam – and those who are up to it can further enhance it with latte art. Those who prefer their coffee cold can also make cold brew straight from the machine. Americano, lungo and hot water round off the range – available as single or double servings.

Series 4 fits comfortably even on smaller worktops. The housing is made of robust stainless steel – inspired by professional machines found in cafés. The Bosch design elements ensure a high-quality, harmonious appearance that gives the worktop a professional look. Some models also feature StageLight illumination, which allows you to monitor the extraction stream.
Proper care for great flavour
Regular maintenance ensures consistent coffee quality over the long term. The HomeCafé Series 4 assists with this through integrated cleaning and descaling programmes – the machine automatically reminds you via an LED when a maintenance cycle is due. The drip tray features an integrated accessory compartment for cleaning accessories. A passive cup warmer on top of the machine keeps the cups at the right temperature.
The Bosch HomeCafé Series 4 will be available in shops from September 2026.
